Fat tire bikes are designed primarily for all-terrain use and can handle various terrains, including street, snow, sand, dirt trails, and rough roads.

Aventon’s Aventure.2 fat tire ebike comes equipped with a throttle that has a maximum speed of 20 mph.
Aventon ebikes like the Aventure.2 are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
Yes. Class 1 ebikes are pedal-assist only, meaning they have no throttle and can only reach a maximum speed of 20 miles per hour. By removing the throttle on your Aventon ebike and ensuring the max speed limit is set to 20mph, you can configure a class 2 to a class 1 ebike for trail use.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

Nice bike, fun to ride.

So far the Aventure.2 is a great bike. It is my first eBike, so I am still getting used to it. But cannot wait to try some trails with it. So far, it seems to be pretty rugged and the **** tires on it are awesome! The free extra battery was a huge bonus, it will come in handy on long rides. I love to rear rack as well, awesome bike overall!!

first E-bikes

My wife and I bought 2 bikes from Adventure RV in Fargo, ND. The first weekend we took them on a 60 mile trail ride. averaged 17 mph in Eco mode. I had 20% battery left, my wife had almost 40% left. Great trip. We've taken them on 4-5 other trail rides (a little shorter) and have had a wonderful time with our bikes and a relaxing afternoon together.

Having it assembled for us at the store was nice, the salesman also helped mount the rack on the back of my truck. GREAT experience

We received the free batteries (promotion), our plans are for more and perhaps longer treks next summer. I'm planning to ride the bike to work this winter, (North Dakota) we get a lot of snow!!!
