- 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
- 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
- 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
- 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
- 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
- 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
- 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

Adjust the three PAS levels to fine-tune its overall rideability.

If weight doesn’t bother you and you’re not planning on running an ultralight set up, an e-MTB makes all the difference.
The Ramblas meets those needs at a fair price with actual name brand quality components. I purchased this bike thinking I’d be getting away with good enough gear and entry level parts- I was so presently surprised when I got on some difficult single track and could zip around without insane pedaling or weight concerns. Aventon definitely cut us a deal when they put out the Ramblas at this great price point.
The mid drive motor is insanely strong for those steep hills. After several miles of uphill steep, steep single track, I barely made a dent in the battery’s charge. This bike continues to impress.
With an easily removable battery (especially helpful to have a compartment door that doesn’t mind getting caked in mud), it’s so easy to throw this bike around when transporting.
Worth the investment and the time riding, and I’m so excited for more from Aventon.

Disclaimer: I'm a novice mountain bike rider and this is my first e-bike. After several weeks of research and renting an Aventon Pace, we decided to purchase a pair of bikes - a Ramblas for me and a Level.2 for my wife. The bikes arrived safely and well-packed (kudos to the genius who designed the packing material!). Assembly was fairly quick and simple with the aid of the assembly video. After a quick ride around the neighborhood to make minor adjustments and learn the controls, we set out on a 32-mile trail ride. The trail was fairly smooth, prepared trail through mildly rolling terrain in the Black Hills of South Dakota - again, nothing too adventurous. We were both pleasantly surprised with the comfort and handling of the bikes. Gear shifts were quick, smooth, and accurate; braking was confident without being "grabby." The boost motor on the Ramblas was seamless - it kicks in to aid in climbs and acceleration, then fades away when there is no longer a need for the assist. Simply put, it feels natural without so much as a hint of clunkiness. We couldn't be happier with our investment and look forward to thousands of miles in the saddle!

The most fun I’ve ever had in 20+ years of riding. Handles steep inclines and agile enough to make it down technical single track. Couldn’t be more happy with the purchase.

For the money, it’s an amazing bike. I ride with people with much more expensive bikes, and after only 100 miles, I’m liking the Ramblas more each ride. Dropper seat is a little sticky, but that’s all I can find to complain about. My Aventure has over 3K miles of trail and mountain biking. The Ramblas is a serious improvement.
