- 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
- 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
- 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
- 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
- 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
- 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
- 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

Bought it used on Craigslist based on the reviews I read here.
I commute ~3 times per week on the Aventure2, a total of about 69 miles per week. Currently over 3000 miles and 141 hours. I’ve saved 69 trees according to the odometer, so I figured it was a good time for a review. I almost exclusively ride in turbo mode and while the range is limited, I don’t much mind. My commute is relatively short. Range has decreased some amount since purchase, for sure, but this is expected. The only maintenance I’ve done is fix a few flat tires, put some chain lube on, and replace the brake pads. Super easy. Highly recommend this bike as a FUN daily driver.

Amazing bike so far, have only had little problems with the throttle not always working in the extreme cold, and my gears slipping. Tuned it up and it works great now
