I have been mountain biking since 1984, long before it became a "thing." My first bike was a Schwinn High Sierra and most recently a Santa Cruz Blur. I've been around the block (more than a few times!) with different makes and models. The Aventon Ramblas is an AMAZING machine and considering the price point it's a must buy on so many levels. It's easy to see all of the thoughtful engineering Aventon put into this bike, from the packing and ease of assembly to the selected components, geometry and overall setup. On the trail the Ramblas has a very balanced feel and excels climbing or ripping downhill. Their inhouse designed mid-drive motor performs at a level that should make Bosch nervous. I'm easily over 240lbs and the motor is an all day BEAST even on the gnarliest climbs! Aventon's approach to product development reminds me of the electric vehicle company Rivian, all in on design and function with consumer value and enjoyment at the center. I'd been researching various EMTB hardtails for months before I bought. I dare you to find a better value off the shelf, it isn't there my friends. The secret is out, Aventon will be the new leader in the mid and premium EMTB market before long.

Recently retired and my wife and I love to ride for exercise. We rode road bikes in MA where the roads are mainly flat. Now in AZ where trails and hills are the norm and, at our age, a little difficult. We went to test ride 3 different ebikes on Memorial Day weekend and were introduced the the Ramblas. Both my wife and I really enjoied test riding the Ramblas. After some online research and watching reviews, we ordered our Ramblas ebikes (Aurora for her, Borialis for him). Our Ramblas ebikes make our rides more enjoyable since we no longer struggle riding up hills. We're not experienced mountain bikers but we really enjoy getting out on the trails with our ebikes. So far, the Ramblas has exceeded our expectations.

Aventon
I really enjoy riding this bike. It’s my first mountain bike, and while it would have been nice to say I'm riding a non-electric hard tail, I really enjoy the ability to scoot up trails I would have had to walk, and to cover much more ground to get to the fun stuff. Definitely raises the fun factor. I had the bike delivered to my house and found setup of the bike straightforward.
