Aventon’s Pace 500.3 cruiser electric bike comes equipped with a throttle that has a maximum speed of 20 mph.
The Pace 500.3 is a cruiser-style electric bike with an upright riding position, rigid fork, swept-back handlebars, and cushioned saddle, while the Level 2 is a commuter-style ebike equipped with fenders and a rear rack.

Aventon ebikes like the Pace are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.
Yes. Class 1 ebikes are pedal-assist only, meaning they have no throttle. By removing the throttle on your Aventon ebike, you can configure a class 2 to a class 1 ebike for trail use.
Aventon does not sell conversion kits. All Aventon bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Aventon ebike. Here are a few things to remember:

  1. 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
  2. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
  3. 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
  4. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
  5. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
  6. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
  7. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.

Awesome bike

I love this bike. The only down side is the lack of shocks on the front. When you hit a bump the shock goes right through you. That is the only negative I have.

AWESOME FOR BIKE SURFING..

I have gladly owned my Aventon pace 500.3 for 2yrs and have put over 4000+ miles on it. I wake up every day and ride my 20 mile bike ride. It's become my church. Best of all I am able to balance perfectly and ride and turn full turns with no hands bcuz how smooth the torque motor works and feels like the real thing instead of a motor just yeeting you along. In those 2yrs I have lost 100 lbs and feel great. Thank you Aventon you might have saved my life. 💯. Sadly after 4000+ miles I am starting to have some issues but damn that's good.
I NEED ANOTHER!!! PLEASE DON'T LET ME GET **** AGAIN.... NOT LIKE THIS... SERIOUSLY AWESOME PRODUCT.

Great E-Bike

First time on a E-Bike. It was easy to unbox and assemble with minimal adjustment to fit me. Have only used it 3 times for a total of 26 miles and it is really nice to ride and easy to operate.
