    Just to clarify

This will NOT fit on a step through Adventure 3 model, if so why? And is there another option on the market?

    Hi there,

Thank you for your review. The Aventon Longboard Rack mounts directly to the bike’s front head tube and rear seatpost. Because the Aventure.3 Step-Through features an oversized head tube and low-step frame geometry, the front mounting clamp cannot attach to the frame. For carrying boards on an Aventure.3 Step-Through, we recommend considering a rear-rack mounted surfboard rack. Thank you for choosing Aventon, and happy riding!

    What’s the dealy yo?

The Inertia.com (reviewing the Aventure): “ There are lots of options on the market, but Aventon recommends the Moved By Bikes Payload for shortboards and MBB’s Longboard Rack for longboards (duh), and we’d find it hard to disagree.”

    Aventon (that’s you) states: “
Compatible with Aventon Pace, Level, and Soltera electric bike models. NOT compatible with Aventure, Abound or Sinch in traditional and step-through frames.”

Simple mistake by an overworked intern, or nefarious grand plan subplot for tonights attempt to try and take over the world Pinky?

    Installed and ready to go

The installation was relatively straightforward. I had to go with the optional longest threaded rod and had to cut off excess threaded rod which made the installation time longer due to installing the rack mounts on a Aventon Pace 500.2. I placed my 10 foot Weber performer in the board racks and proceeded to ride my bike. Given the long length, width, and weight of my board I was able to transport the board relatively easily. However it takes practice and I have not yet taken my board to the beach on my bike yet, I guess more news to follow on how it went…..

Hey Mike, thanks for sharing your experience with us. We greatly appreciate it. :)
