I recently purchased an Aventure.2 and couldn't be happier, though I've only taken it out on a maiden voyage so far.

16.5 miles and I only used 31% of the battery, I couldn't be happier with how the ride feels as well as the battery life. My test run was on main road, through a neighborhood and then a park, ending up on a dirt path in a pasture. It's been years since I've been able to enjoy a good bike ride, and now as a 30-something I don't have the ability to just go and go like I did when I was a kid. The motor assist with this bike makes it to where I really don't have to worry about being miserable at any time or feel like someone out of shape in their 30's while biking in 90-degree weather. Tough hill? Use the throttle, simple. Having a tough time on an incline? Adjust from no assist to "eco" up through "tour", "sport", or "turbo" modes and find that sweet spot where you're only putting in the effort that you *want* to put in.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase, and with a 2-year warranty I have confidence that it's a feeling that will persist.

First Electric Bike I've purchased and I have definitely made the right decision. I just couldn't believe how easy it is to pedal this bike. I wish I had something like this when I was a kid 60 years ago. With the directions for assembly of the bike, rather it was the manual or the video, it was simply. It's a well made quality bike that I have no regrets in purchasing. I've only been riding it for a week, I can't wait to put many more miles on it. Well Done Aventon, all Aventon personnel included.

I had a fantastic experience from ordering to delivery to putting my 140th mile on the bike (Aventure 2) as of this post!

So much fun. I push it hard. Mostly run tires at 6-7 psi so I can have a soft ride but also for beach riding - even across soft sand. Low tide riding is so good. Then also push on trails. Nothing over the top as it is not a light bike. You won't regret it!

After much research, I purchased the Aventure.2 e-bike. I am very pleased with the entire experience. Here's an overview:
1) Communication. The company emailed me as soon as my order was complete. Then a second email included an assembly video and a user manual. Another email announced when it shipped, with a tracking number. Overall, I have received 8-10 email from Aventon, with useful and timely info.
2) Build Quality. This bike seems very solid. Even the box it came in is solid! (my only complaint about the box it shipped in would be that everything was wrapped and protected except the front tire, which was resting against the main tube and scuffed the paint a little during transport.) The assembly video was complete and easy to follow. Everything went together easily and everything seems solid.
3) Performance. The bike is so much fun to ride! it has plenty of power and rides nicely. My first ride was a 12 mile ride in just over 30 minutes, averaging 21.5mph. But, if i keep the assist low enough, it is still a great cardio workout. It extends my riding time, which is what I was after. There is a dirt trail by my house that I ride with my traditional mountain bike, and that bike struggled through the ruts and washouts, but not this bike. With the **** tires, it takes on ruts, washouts, sand - it is the most surefooted bike I have ever ridden
4) The turn signals, racks, and fender are all well designed and solid.
5) Things to know: (A) This bike is not quiet! with the **** tires and the hub motor, I won't be sneaking up on anyone. (B) The brakes are brand name and good quality, but the bike is heavy and doesn't stop on a dime (C) The extra battery has already come and will extend the riding (D) The range on the bike is between 40-80 miles, depending on the level of assist that I am using. I'm very satisfied with the range (E) the pedal clearance is rally low. I've already hit my pedal on the ground when riding ruts or across steep grades. I am trying to learn to rest my pedals at 3-9 instead of 12-6. None of these are deal breakers, but worth mentioning.
Final analysis - I am incredibly happy with this bike! It is a great ride, lots of fun, and so far has met or exceeded every expectation.
