- 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
- 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Aventon branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
- 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
- 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
- 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
- 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity.
- 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.

The fit and finish is excellent for an Ebike in this price range, but I did find some parts to be too cheap such as handgrips, pedals, and the seat. Now I am completey content with my purchase.

Purchased Level 2 in early December directly from Aventon. The transaction was seamless and the shipping was within a week (unexpected and amazing). The assembly was very simple and everything went together without a hitch. One of the parts on front wheel axel did not match instructions as it had been switched out. Customer Service offered explanation and clarification. I was satisfied. Had to wait a couple of days for first test ride as temps here were not conducive to bike riding. Weather warmed up , took first 16 mile ride and I was smiling ear to ear . This is my first electric bike and I love it. Can’t wait for weather to stay warm so I can see if the battery and pedal assist will get me towards the 60 mile range. I plan on purchasing a second battery when they go on sale just to expand for longer rides. I am 68 year old male and this bike allows me to enjoy the longer rides that I enjoy.

in July 2001 we bought our first two Level 2 bikes, one step-through, one step-over. We now have 4000 miles on each bike. We don't worry about wind speed or direction when riding. In October 2024, we bought two new Level 2 bikes for our winter home in Arizona. They are now equipped with lights, so that is a nice feature. We recommend these bikes to anyone asking about e-bikes.
