Simple to do easily except the wires were tangled and wedged somewhat inside and some salt and road dirt had 'welded' the crank-arm arm on so it took a little while while to unstick with penetrant. You're service is good. Thanks...bob

The new Cadence Sensor solved my problem. After Aventon diagnosed the problem and sent the part, along with helpful links to guide me. YouTube was also helpful. The toughest challenge was figuring out how to connect the cable under the battery. I'm back on the road.
