How to remove old badge

My bike was delivered with dents in tge badge.
1.Use masking tape to outline all edges if old badge.
2. Work a length of dental flows behind a corner of the badge.
3. Using a sawing motion to have the floss cut the mastic glue between the badge and the bike. It will take many pieces if floss to completely cut through the mastic.
4. The badge then can be easily lifted off the bike but leaves a thin layer off mastic.
5. Use WD-40 pr other adhesive remover with a rag to remove the thin layer of mastic.
6. Wipe surface with alcohol or soap and water to remove all traces of adhesive remover.
7. Remove paper backing from new badge and position it within the madking tape outline.
8. Press the center of the badge to the bike and the work your way out to the edges.
9. Remove masking tape and you are done.
